What is the "heartmind?"

Zohar answered, "As a Star Seed you must cultivate the heartmind. It is that capacity you have to think with your heart. There are more neurons connecting your brain to your heart than exist between any other 2 organs in the body. The heart literally is a mind of its own. It thinks of solutions even when the intellectual faculty is struggling with terms, and definitions of language received and symbols to be operated upon, and all manor if imaginings and fantasy that the intellectual mind is so good at doing. These, however, are processes of the intellectual mind that so often remove you from the greater Reality that surrounds you and operates through you.

"The heartmind is also a chakra in the energy system of your being and is no less important than the third eye or the crown chakra. All the chakras have their function, and one of the functions of the heartmind, why it receives and gives energy is that whereas the intellect thinks, the heartmind discerns. That is a critical distinction because as a Star Seed you must hone your capacity for discernment."
